Atlas skull-flow diversion with inclination

Typical Atlas skull-flow deflection with upper left tilt and right rotation. The head is forced into a tilted position. The axis also takes an inclined position. C3, C4, C5 and C6 adopt a compensatory position in the opposite direction leading to cervical roto-scoliosis.  C7, T1 and T2 compensate again in the opposite direction by moving a roto-scoliosis effect towards the dorsal.

Verification of technical effectiveness AtlasPROfilax® (before/after)

This video shows an anatomically normal theoretical model of a coronal cut of the head joints (C0-C1 and C2) and visually describes its parts.

The video shows coronal CT cuts before and after the AtlasPROfilax® Method. The time lapse is only 40 minutes between one shot and another.

In the pre-therapy pictures the patients show (in more than 98%) very clear articular asymmetries of the occipital condyle with respect to the upper articular facets of the atlas glenoid cavity. In addition, the joint of C1 with respect to the axis is also altered.

After realization of the AtlasPROfilax® method by R.c. Schümperli the joint asymmetries have disappeared. The interlocking of the glenoid fossa with the occipital condyle is correct and complete. The same applies to the joint C1-C2, whose symmetry is normalized after the application of AtlasPROfilax®.
