The Atlasprofilax training is a university course for doctors, physiotherapists, kinesiologists, dentists and other health professionals.
It is important to keep in mind that all countries have different laws, therefore, different health professionals may or may not have access to the Swiss AtlasPROfilax® training, depending on the country they are in.
The Fundación Universitaria de Ciencias de la Salud
is a Higher Education Institution, which assumes with responsibility the integral formation of the student, in the fields of science, research, technology and humanities; with foundations of academic excellence, ethical, social and scientific sense, led by a highly qualified human team; in order to allow the objective and rational analysis of the problems of the community and contribute to improve their quality of life.
The history of the FUCS begins in 1902, when a group of ten Colombian physicians created the Surgical Society of Bogota. In 1994, the Surgical Society of Bogota and the Universidad del Rosario agreed to terminate the joint agreement for the operation of the medical school at the Hospital de San José and, from that moment on, the institution changed its name to Fundación Universitaria de Ciencias de la Salud (University Foundation of Health Sciences).
Since its foundation, FUCS has been an institution of great national and international prestige, which offers specializations in 32 medical-surgical disciplines approved by the ICFES (Colombian Institute for the Evaluation of Education) with its due registration.
The certificate of participation obtained by FUCS and AtlasPROfilax Academy Switzerland Latin America SAS will entitle you to apply the AltasPROfilax® method.
*This is an informal education program that is part of the Continuing Education offer of the University Foundation of Health Sciences - FUCS, and is developed under the agreement signed between the FUCS and Atlasprofilax Academy Switzerland - Latin America S.A.S (900.604.391-2). Its development does not lead to any title or certificate, it only leads to the issuance of a certificate of attendance, in accordance with Article 2.6.6.8 Decree 1075 of 2015.
The training has a course load of 120 classroom hours and 60 hours of self-study. The course load is divided into 15 days of course, during which the student will be able to see all the subjects included in the course, in addition to practical classes, which will allow him/her to start applying the AtlasPROfilax® method at the end of the course and after receiving his/her biomedical equipment and certificates, both from the AtlasPROfilax® Academy Switzerland Latin America SAS and the University Foundation of Health Sciences.
The training has been designed so that doctors can combine their professional work with the learning of the AtlasPROfilax® Method, optimizing theory and practice.
The AltasPROfilax Academy Switzerland Latin America is based in Bogota, Colombia.

Al finalizar la formación, usted recibirá el equipo biomédico con el cual aplicará el método AtlasPROfilax®.
Asimismo, recibirá los dos certificados: el de la AtlasPROfilax® Academy Switzerland Latin America SAS y el de la Fundación Universitaria de Ciencias de la Salud.
Por otro lado, toda persona que se capacite en el método AtlasPROfilax® debe firmar dos contratos en los que se obliga a respetar las normas internas de dicha profesión y el marco regulatorio asociativo a nivel nacional e internacional.
AtlasPROfilax® mantiene una unidad a nivel de Calidad, Imagen Corporativa, Páginas Web, Medios Sociales, Tarifas (según cada país), Protocolos de Actuación y Código Ético. Todo ello debe ser escrupulosamente respetado por cada profesional , exponiéndose a penalizaciones en caso contrario.
Los contratos que se firman establecen el marco regulatorio que permite mantener muy altos los estándares de la técnica AtlasPROfilax®, evitando divergencias en la calidad del método o en el buen proceder de sus profesionales.
Finalmente, todo profesional capacitado debe ingresar en la International Association of Qualified Atlasprof®s(Asociación Internacional de Atlasprofs® Diplomados - AIAD), con sede en Suiza. El profesional formado, Atlasprof®, deberá satisfacer anualmente una pequeña cuota de membresía a la International Association of Qualified Atlasprof®s que sirve para cubrir los costos de funcionamiento de la Asociación.
Asimismo, cada dos o tres años deberá asistir obligatoriamente a la Asamblea General de AtlasPROfilax® Latinoamérica y pasar el Control de Calidad Anual para la reválida de su certificación.
